The historic former Park Place United Methodist Church on the corner of Colonial Avenue and 34th Street in Norfolk, Virginia has been turned into apartments. The church, which opened in 1917, was once the largest Methodist congregation in Virginia with around 1,000 seats. It closed in 2016 and has been used as a space for community groups in the meantime.

It’s a beautiful building. I wish it could still be a church, but I’m happy it’s still standing and being maintained.
What a beautiful building, Marina. Thanks for the look inside. I love the green. Hugs.
Impressive building and beautifully framed in that first shot.
Thank you!
A beautiful building and an inviting entrance. I am happy to see that it is still in use.
